A coworking space on the ground floor of Kounicova Street in Brno, realised for the Centre for Foreigners JMK (CCJMK), serves as a community base for work, information sharing, workshops and networking. Its aim is to support the integration of foreigners in the Brno labour market and create an open, welcoming environment for meetings.
This is our second collaboration with CCJMK. The project was developed with a limited budget in a rented space without the possibility of construction interventions and with a significantly limited time frame – work on the design began in mid-November 2024 and by January 2025 the interior had to be fully operational.
We designed a solution that maximises the potential of the existing space without construction modifications. We not only designed the interior but also realised it ourselves – in collaboration with the CCJMK team. The project was funded by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
