Burial conservation grounds in the Czech landscape context as a reverential biocenters. The exhibition is an audiovisual confrontation of images of the vision of the "cemetery of the future" (a bio-diverse composed landscape, a place where it lives) by architect Blanka Solár and the critical inner voice of a gravedigger and crematorium employee, mediated by the audio narrative of Adam Vokáč. It draws attention to the reality of the current funeral industry with the introduction of legislative restrictions on the issue of choosing our last trace. More than 100 years after cremation was legalized, an industry response to the problem of burying growing urban populations, the topic requires critical review. The exhibition encourages reflection on this issue and allows you to attach a signature to the petition for free and sustainable burial, issued by the association Last Trace z.s. The Pietní biocenter is a "vision of the cemetery of the 21st century" and the subsequent development of the thesis Projective space; Cemetery without graves Blanka Solár at FA BUT in Brno 2020. The concept relates to two areas, the issue of biocenters and their maintenance in the Czech cultural landscape and, on the other hand, the currently ongoing debate on the liberalization of the funeral law and the updating of the funeral industry in the Czech Republic, which promotes modern , more ecological approaches, already available abroad (cemetery reserve in UK, USA...) The idea also deals with the forms of marking the resting places of the deceased and their variability in relation to the requirements of the bereaved and the family in accordance with the biodiverse area The exhibition took place in Brno, Prague and Boskovice. In April, a conference with the support of foundations and non-profit organizations was held on the topic of the venerable biocentre.
