The principle is the cumulation of functions in a simple volume for ease of operation and maintenance, embedded in the slope. A two-storey cuboid seamlessly connects to the terrain from the west, providing a natural and barrier-free accessible viewpoint over the complex within the vegetation roof. The atriums serve a dual purpose. Within the exhibition, they function as exterior display vitrines and allow thematic planting in connection with the adjoining interior part of the exhibition. Within the lower floor spaces embedded in the terrain, the atriums provide views of greenery and daylight.
The building, through its tectonic composition of structural elements and the choice of natural materials in earthy tones, reflects its surroundings and the strong context of the protected landscape locality, with the aim of blending into the environment. In terms of materials, the interior is inverse to the exterior. We use a combination of light natural wood with charred, dark wood.
