The concept of the design is based on the original function of an older facility building, partly used as a stable and barn for livestock. This is reflected in the aesthetics of the conversion to contemporary housing, meeting the demands of the future family. The design thus balances on the border between current needs and housing requirements and expressive traditional motifs.
A huge part of barns has to be removed as backyard volume do not meet the needs of the client and also due to poor technical condition it is not possible to preserve. However, this purification of the object opens up the common living spaces towards to garden, and allows effective maintenance of the countryard/garden.
